The INA296A is a -4V to 110V, Bidirectional, 1MHz, 5V/µs, Ultra Precision Current Sense Amplifier

The INA296A is an ultra-precision bidirectional AZ1117BH-ADJTRE1 current sense amplifier that measures the voltage drop across a shunt resistor over a wide common-mode range from –4 V to 110 V, independent of supply voltage. High-accuracy current measurements are achieved through a combination of low offset voltage (12 μV, max), small gain error (0.05%, max), and high DC CMRR (160 dB typ, 10 nV/VV OS). The INA296A are not only designed for high voltage bidirectional DC current measurements, but also for high speed applications (such as transient detection and fast overcurrent protection) with high 1 MHz signal bandwidth and fast settling time.

The INA296A operates from a single 2.7V to 20V supply and consumes 3mA of supply current. The INA296A offers five gain options: 10 V/V, 20 V/V, 50 V/V, 100 V/V, and 200 V/V. Multiple gain options allow optimization between available shunt resistor values ​​and wide output dynamic range requirements.

The INA296A is specified over the -40°C to +125°C temperature range and is available in space saving 8-lead SOT-23 and 8-lead VSSOP packages.
